About the Course
Conflict Resolution
2 week-course
2 days/week
Tuesday & Thursday, 5:30 - 6:30 pm
This interactive course helps preteens develop the skills they need to navigate disagreements with confidence, empathy, and respect. Designed specifically for ages 11–13, the program teaches students how to understand emotions (their own and others’), communicate clearly, and resolve conflicts in healthy, constructive ways.
Through guided discussions, role-playing, real-life scenarios, and collaborative activities, students learn practical strategies for managing peer conflict, handling misunderstandings, setting boundaries, and working through challenges at school, at home, and in social settings. Emphasis is placed on active listening, problem-solving, emotional regulation, and choosing positive outcomes over reactive responses.
By the end of the course, students will feel more confident expressing themselves, responding thoughtfully during disagreements, and building stronger, more respectful relationships—skills that support both personal growth and academic success.
